Arbor Custom Homes to Build in 2011 Street of Dreams!

Arbor Custom Homes is proud to announce that it has committed to build in the 2011 Street of Dreams.

This years Street of Dreams will be held at Brentwood Estates on top of Bull Mountain in Tigard. The site is located on SW 155th terrace & Bull Mountain Road and features 12,000 sqft lots. The 36th annual Street of Dreams is put on by the Homebuilders Association of Metro Portland. More information to follow.

The Lowrie Primary School in Villebois approved by review board.



Wilsonville's development review board approved amendments Thursday night to the Villebois master plan, allowing the school to move to the east side of community as well as extending a new road to the proposed site.


The city council will consider final approval of the measures Thursday January 20th.


The new primary school will serve 500 students and open in September 2012. When completed, the approximately 10.46 acre property will include a park, a playground and athletic fields.





Construction is planned to begin this spring.

$4.85 Million Federal Contract Awarded to Flir Systems


Congratulations go out to Wilsonville based Flir Systems Inc. The company has won a $4,849,300 federal contract from the U.S. Army Contracting Command, Fort Monmouth, N.J., for emitted and reflected radiation night vision equipment. (WASHINGTON DC, Dec. 28, 2010)


FLIR Systems is a thermal imaging (infrared) systems manufacturer based in Wilsonville, Oregon. Founded in 1978, the company makes thermal imagers, thermal imager components, as well as larger systems containing thermal imagers along with other sensors, for both commercial and military applications.


Flir is The World Leader in the Design, Manufacture and Marketing of Thermal Imaging Infrared Cameras.


In 2010 FLIR Systems Completed two major Acquisitions.

The first was a $180 million transaction to take over Raymarine, a world leader in the marine electronics industry. And later on in the year FLIR acquired ICx Technologies for $268 Million. ICx is a leading provider of integrated advanced sensing technologies for homeland security, force protection and critical infrastructure applications.
