As you may know, now is an incredible time to be a first time home buyer because of the $8,000 tax credit available for qualified buyers. We have seen many first time buyers move-in to their brand new Arbor Custom Home at Villebois - including Skyler Arabak, who moved into his home earlier this month. If you are a first time buyer, it is not too late for you to take advantage of this incredible opportunity to receive $8,000 cash for living at Villebois - you just need to purchase your home by October 15, 2009. We have some incredible move-in ready town homes in the 200's and single family homes in the 300's. Give me call or email me if you would like more information.

Good news from this month's RMLS Market Action Report!
The number of months inventory for July is down to 7.3 in Portland Metro, that dropped from 8.2 in June. Inventory has not been this low since August of 2007! A very positive sign that the housing market has rebounded.

Very excited to read an article from U.S.News&WorldReport article written by Rick Newman regarding the 10 Cities Primed for a Real Estate Recovery - Portland was #8!
Portland, Ore. (12.8 percent, up 3.6 points). Portland's unemployment rate has surged by nearly 7 percentage points over the past year, making it one of the highest in the nation. But local economists think that's partly because people come to the region from more depressed areas, hoping to land a job in what has traditionally been one of the West Coast's most vibrant economies. With dozens of businesses clustered around trendy sectors like clean technology, recycling, sustainable development, and eco-friendly manufacturing, Portland seems poised for a healthy rebound.
